Wicd none validating authentication
I first tried Network Manager, but since it returns no information as to why it fails, it wasn't any help. But now that I'm home, I can't connect to my parents' wireless router, which is encrypted (WPA-PSK TKIP). I'm using Fedora 12 with LXDE (and GNOME) on an Eee PC 900.

My info: slackware 12.2 kernel 18.104.22.168-SMP wicd-1.5.9 (wext driver) wpa_supplicant wpa-psk ccmp mac filtering enabled wlan0: broadcom bcm4306 ndiswrapper installed using "bcmw15 driver"(windows driver)I'm having some issues connecting to my wireless connection with wicd.
The problem is it gets stuck at "Validating Authentication"I have manually created a seperate template file and I've added it to the active list.

Same result, unable to connect to IP on protected networks, and now the network name shows "none" at the lower left hand corner, regardless of the network i connect to.
Connection Failed: Unable to Get IP Address When I was on a college campus recently, I was able to connect to unencrypted wireless just fine (I was using Network Manager at the time). But now that I'm home, I can't connect to my parents' wireless router, which is encrypted (WPA-PSK TKIP).
